Staff Advisory Council Links with OSU Mansfield

Thanks to a grant co-written by Marilyn Trefz, Associate Director of Project Reinvent, and Mark Ellis, Assistant Dean at OSU Mansfield, members of the College of FAES Staff Advisory Council and OSU Mansfield staff members learned better team building tools.

Thanks to a grant co-written by Marilyn Trefz, Associate Director of Project Reinvent, and Mark Ellis, Assistant Dean at OSU Mansfield, members of the College of FAES Staff Advisory Council and OSU Mansfield staff members learned better team building tools.

Paul Axtell served as the leader of the workshop entitled "Working Effectively in a Group Setting." Both groups worked together during introductory activities and Axtell's presentations to develop a common frame of reference in understanding teamwork strategies. Participants separated into their respective groups to apply the strategies according to their organization's needs.

By the end of this two day workshop held on the Mansfield campus, members of the College Staff Advisory Council planned future activities, identified realistic time frames and established task forces to reach their goals.
